I LOVE this book: Animal Speak by Ted Andrews. I own two copies - one for home and the other for my studio, so it is always at hand. For years and years, I've used it as a dream journal and a sightings journal, writing dates and experiences of the creatures I see and dream about next to Ted's listings. It's been a useful, accurate, and trustworthy guide to the language of animals.
